What is difference between Switching and Linear type DC Power Supply?

Linear type power supply?
In order to make DC, The control circuit inside inputs continuous analog signals into rectifying section and enable to output limit setting value.
The advantage of linear type is that response time is fast and output noise is lower than switching type.

Switching type power supply?
With electronic switch, It is a method to turn ON the switch only as much as the output required and deliver the power to the output side.
The advantage of switching type is that it provides high efficiency and slim size comparing output capacity.
It is suitable to loads such as motors and inverters which makes noise.

What is difference between Programmable and Regulated DC Power Supply?

Programmable DC Power Supply has a better output resolution and more accurate on readback than Regulated power supply.
You can set the setting value and use it with stability. Also, still provides
OVP, OCP, V-sensing and Factory mode. It can be controlled by PC and also can consist of system or automation system.

What is voltage compensation ‘V-SENSING’?

If the wiring to the load is long, the voltage value at load can be lower than the output setting value.
In other words, a voltage drop occurs. It is possible to compensate the voltage drop by moving voltage detection location of feedback in DC Power Supply to load terminal, not in output terminal.

How to decide the cable thickness depending on DC output current?

The thickness of cable is determined by the current value regardless of voltage value.
User can easily choose it by dividing DC current value by 4. For example, EX30-80 provides 30V, 80A. its cable thickness is 80A / 4 = 20SQ = 20㎟ or bigger.

Preparation in case of initialization of Power Supply such as power outage or power cut unexpected.

. If the product is rebooted because the power failure or power is temporarily interrupted while using the product, it may be difficult to reset the existing setting value.
In this case, it has auto save function and the last setting value is executed automatically when power is restored. It is called "LAST STATE" function. It automatically memorizes basic setting values, output ON / OFF status, and is automatically restored when rebooting.

I want to mount the product on a rack or shelf.

Use of racks is good for space utilization and system configuration with PC.
Our DC Power Supplies can be easily mounted in standard rack using brackets.
It is available to 19inch Rack and can be mounted on rack in 800mm~2100mm high.

What is CV, CC mode?

There is a state which the output voltage and output current do not change even if the load changes. It is called constant voltage (CV) mode and constant current (CC) mode respectively.
Basically, constant voltage is used a lot, and as there is a limit of output capacity, it can operate within a limited current value range. If the output current is limited in range, it will automatically switch from constant voltage (CV) operation to constant current (CC) operation, and prevents over current output.
If the output voltage is limited in range even under constant current (CC) operation, it will change to constant voltage (CV) mode. Our product indicates constant voltage (CV) as green light-on and constant current (CC) as red light-on respectively.

What is LIMIT function?

There is Limit Display function to set correct values of existing setting voltage, current value or under output status.
This is only available in Programmable DC Power Supply and enable to set voltage and current more stable.

How to control remotely?

Our products can be controlled remotely through PC or external analog terminal. It supports SCPI for PC control and has RS-232C, RS485, USB, TCP/IP etc as standard or option depending on models. It is still controlled by external analog beside PC.
Output voltage, current control and monitoring are possible with external signal (voltage 0 ~ 5V or 0 ~ 10V). There is an option which can control output ON/OFF using external relay contact signal.
